What are the details on the Cancellation Protection Insurance?

IMTC recognizes that unforeseen medical emergencies or travel interruptions may arise and prevent attendance at the event. IMTC is pleased to offer Cancellation Protection Insurance to help protect your financial investment.  

IMTC Cancellation Protection Insurance may be purchased for $100 at the time of registration only. This insurance provides a 100% refund of IMTC registration fees, minus the $100 Protection Insurance fee, only if the registrant is unable to attend due to a covered medical event or travel interruption.

Covered reasons include:

Illness, injury, or medical emergency affecting the registrant that prevents the registrant from attending 
Severe travel interruptions that prevent attendance, such as significant flight cancellations, or delays beyond the registrant’s control

Cancellation Protection Insurance applies only to the total amount paid for IMTC registration fees and does not cover other expenses (e.g., travel, lodging, or meals). Registration cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to Julie Parmley and require supporting documentation (doctor’s note, travel delay proof, etc.) to validate it is a covered reason. All cancellation requests must be received by April 2, 2026. Requests received after this date will not be considered.
