What is the cancellation and refund policy for attendee passes, exhibit spaces, and sponsorships?

Attendee Passes, and Tour and Workshop Tickets

Cancellation Protection Insurance
The Event recognizes that both professional and personal situations may arise, and is pleased to offer Cancellation Protection Insurance to protect your financial investment in IMTC.

NOTE: Cancellation Protection Insurance is for Attendee Passes, and Tour and Workshop Tickets Only. This insurance is NOT provided for, or applicable to, Exhibit Spaces and Sponsorships.

Cancelling With Cancellation Protection Insurance

IMTC Cancellation Protection Insurance may be purchased for $100 at the time of registration only. Those purchasing this option may cancel for any reason through the end of the show (April 2, 2026) and receive a 100% refund, minus the protection fee — for attendee passes, and tour and workshop tickets only. Cancellation Protection Insurance covers the total amount paid for IMTC attendee pass fees and optional tour and workshop tickets. (This insurance does not apply to or cover exhibit space fees and/or sponsorships.) Registration cancellations must be submitted in writing to IMTC@mcievents.com.

Without Cancellation Protection Insurance

Cancellation requests for attendee passes, and tour and workshop tickets, received on or prior to January 28, 2026, will be considered. All cancellation requests will be subject to an administration fee of $100. Cancellations must be received no later than January 28, 2026 and submitted in writing to IMTC@mcievents.com. Cancellations will not be accepted, for requests that are received after this date.

Exhibit Spaces & Sponsorships

If an Exhibitor desires to cancel their Exhibitor Contract and therefore their exhibit space, the Exhibitor may only do so by giving written notice to Melissa Sklenar, with evidence of receipt by the Event. If the cancellation is received by October 24, 2025, then Exhibitor will remain liable for 50% of the total exhibit fee. Otherwise, the Exhibitor will remain liable for 100% of the total fees. 

Sponsors will remain liable for 100% of all fees paid or payable in respect of sponsorships, regardless of when their Contract is executed or cancelled by Sponsor.

Substitutions

If you are unable to attend, you may send someone in your place. Substitutions may be made until the first day of the event, March 31, 2026. The request must be in writing to IMTC@mcievents.com by the original registrant.

Hotels

Hotel reservations must be cancelled by the official cancellation date of your reservation, or you will be responsible for any hotel cancellation fees as specified in your reservation.

Liability

The Event is not responsible or liable for any costs incurred due to cancellations or delays of any type including travel and/or weather that may affect purchased events, including education sessions, workshops, or special events. For a complete waiver of liability, see the Event Policies

Virtual

If the Event moves to virtual-only and an Attendee does not want to attend the Virtual Event, then the Attendee will receive credit toward the following year’s Event.

Chargebacks

Note that any charges for Registration items on your credit card may be labeled "Trifecta Collective." Chargebacks on any purchased passes will result in a recoup of costs. No exceptions.
