Is PPE required when setting up my display?
For the safety of all exhibitors, contractors, and staff, personal protective equipment [PPE] is now mandatory for companies who are building any type of mass timber structure on the show floor. This includes building (move-in) as well as dismantling (move-out). Similar to an active job site, this includes, but is not limited to:
- Closed-toe shoes [steel-toe recommended]
- Hard hats [when overhead work is taking place]
- Safety vests [in active construction zones]
- Safety glasses and gloves [recommended]
Exhibitors who are building structures will be required to provide PPE for their staff and/or contractors. All exhibitors and their appointed contractors must comply with show safety regulations. Failure to comply with PPE requirements may result in delays to your setup, restricted access to the exhibit hall, or removal from the floor.
Note: While PPE is encouraged for all exhibitors, it is only required for those building structures.
